Moderator & Customer Service Representative for a Video Livestreaming Platform

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing timely and courteous customer support through live chat and email channels.
  2. Assisting clients with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product or service information.
  3. Troubleshooting technical problems and escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  4. Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to effectively assist clients.
  5. Documenting customer interactions and ensuring accurate and thorough case records.
  6. Collaborating with team members and other departments to resolve complex customer issues.
  7. Continuously seeking opportunities to improve customer service processes and procedures.
  8. Delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction with each interaction.
  9. Monitor live video streams and chat interactions to enforce community guidelines and maintain a friendly and respectful atmosphere.
  10. Assist in managing and curating content, including highlighting engaging and exciting livestreams and identifying potential violations.
  11. Document and report any inappropriate behavior or violations to the appropriate teams.


  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient and empathetic approach to customer interactions.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new software quickly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and using customer support software.
  • Ability to work in a rotating 3-shift schedule, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.

  • Passion for online communities, livestreaming, and digital content.
  • Fast keyboard typing.
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Airtable & Intercom
