Job description:
As a moderator on our streaming platform, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and safe community for users. Your task will be to monitor chat conversations, respond to inappropriate content, and ensure that all users adhere to the platform’s rules
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor real-time chat conversations to ensure a positive and respectful environment.
- Identify and remove inappropriate content, including offensive language, harassment, and spam.
- Enforce platform rules and guidelines, issuing warnings or bans as necessary.
- Actively engage with users to promote positive interactions and address concerns.
- Collaborate with other moderators and the platform team to improve community experience.
- Handle conflict resolution, ensuring disputes are managed calmly and fairly.
- Stay up to date with platform updates and moderation tools to efficiently manage content.
- Report any technical issues or concerns to the platform’s support team.
Qualifications:
- Excellent Arabic (Najdi, Gulf, Hejazi Dialect) language skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a patient, empathetic approach when communicating with users.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and quickly learn new software.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including data entry.
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills:
- Passion for working in online communities, livestreaming, and digital content.
- Fast typing skills.
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack and Intercom.
